I’ve been actually busy building my first Udemy course!
Since being a child I always knew I would teach something. I even think that in a few years I will become a school teacher. Until then, I got satisfaction from this blog, a course I managed in my workplace and now, a new course on Udemy.
As you already saw here I have a sweet spot for logs. I love them and I think they are underrated. After learning about them, from books and real time experience, I decided to build a course to teach about it.Â
I’ve created an Udemy course taking you from the C# server all the way to Grafana to create dashboards. I use Logstash for manipulation and MySQL for data.
English isn’t my mother tongue so at the beginning I thought to use an AI voice to read what I write. But after talking to a few friends I understood that that won’t work. So I decided to overcome my fears and film myself talking. It took a while until I got to handle it as I like and even when I finished it isn’t exactly who I really am, but it’s pretty good! (I think)
There were times when I forgot to turn on the camera or the mic, lots and lots of repetitions and lots of rewrites.Â
In retrospect, it was very fun and I hope it’s good and people could learn from it. I hope to get questions and some conversations going on in the comments section.
This could be the start of many more courses!
